Globalization has led to the assumption that competition is the only guiding principle for successful business. Ethics and sustainability and responsibility to society and the Earth are assumed to be anti-development and anti -growth.

Anita and Gordon Roddick, the founder of Body Shop, have shown that successful business can go hand in hand with environmental, social and ethical responsibility. The course on Business, Ethics and Sustainability commences on November 10 to end on November 14, 2002.
