Navdanya is  getting calls for GMO free, organic seeds  of crops and vegetables from across Nepal which has been devastated by the earthquake  of April 25th.

Within the next month , before the monsoon starts ,farmers must prepare their rice nurseries and sow their millets,beans and vegetables.

Like Navdanya’s community seed banks  helped rejuvenation of agriculture in Orissa after the super cyclone in 1999, in Tamil Nadu after the tsunami in 2004, in Uttarakhand after the floods of 2013, and in Orissa after the cyclone Phailin, we are gearing up to get seeds to our sisters in Nepal.
