Women, Children and Nature's Alternatives to the WTO, WB & IMF policies a public meeting by Diverse Women for Diversity
held Wednesday, 27th September 2000
from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
at Narodni dum (National House) Nam. Miru 9, Praha 2,
Prague, Czech Republic

Themes of this meeting include:
1. The Policy of the "Unholy Trinity" as War against Women, Nature and Democracy.
2. The Role of the Multiantionals in this War
3. Expansion of the EU to the East and its consequences for women, nature and democracy
4. Economic Globalisation and Militarisation
5. GMOs threatening our biological resources and water
6. What can we learn from the South? Towards a new democracy, a living democracy - "Jaiv Panchayat"

For years the network Diverse Women for Diversity has been struggling globally against neoliberal policies of globalisation, liberalisation and privatisation (GLP), for the preservation of biological and cultural diversity, against patenting of life-forms, for self-reliance of local communities, for a new international democracy on the basis of non-violence, a living democracy which also includes non-human life. In Prague we want to voice our concerns at the GLP agenda perpetrated by the World Bank (WB), the International Monetory Fund (IMF) and the World Trade Organisation (WTO).

We encourage you to join us.
