Navdanya's Cafe being inaugurated at Vasant Kunj in New Delhi

Navdanya promotes the concept of “farm-to-the-table” by ensuring the livelihoods of farmers and the health of the soil and by bringing the pure organic produce of the farm to the consumers through its direct market initiative. The main aim is to support the local farmers, to rescue and conserve crops and plants that are being pushed to extinction and make them available to the people.

To this end, Navdanya opened Delhi’s first organic outlet at Stall No. 18, Dilli Haat and India’s first organic café at D-26, Hauz Khas, New Delhi. A third was opened at 35 Vasant Arcade, Sector B7, Vasant Kunj, Nelson Mandela Marg, on 23rd October, 2005.

And now to benefit a greater number of people, we have partnered with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) to make available healthy and nutritious organic produce. You can now pick up organic food grains and produce from our two Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) petrol pump outlets at National Zoo (Sunder Nagar) and Ashram Chowk. If you are a resident of Maharani Bagh, New Friends Colony and Friends Colony, you can order for free home delivery from Ashram Chowk outlet.

At our outlets, we offer a very diverse range of organic agricultural produce both as grains and in a processed form. We bring to you different varieties of rice, wheat, flour, dals, rajma, spices, edible oils, breakfast cereals, natural sweeteners, millets, cookies, jams, pickles, squashes, culinary herbs etc.
